Two weeks ago Cameron Monaghan and Tina Ivlev took part in a panel discussion at Ocla Comic Con. While there, the Cal Kestis actor revealed that he was already busy with production on the third installment of the Star Wars Jedi series.

Comic conventions aren’t just a great place to talk about your favorite hobby with like-minded people. They’re also a place where big announcements are revealed. This was evident not least in the example of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2.

In the American state of Florida, the Ocla Comic Con, less known in this country, took place on September 16 and 17. There Cal Kestis actor Cameron Monaghan and Night Nurse Merrin actress Tina Ivlev met for a panel discussion. Thanks to a cell phone recording by YouTube account Saix_XIII, the most important moment of that exchange has been captured.

If the timestamp doesn’t display correctly for you, fast forward to minute 41 of the video. At this point, Cameron Monaghan reveals that work has begun on Star Wars Jedi 3.

Of course, he didn’t reveal what the title will be and when we can expect a release. Since there were four years between the releases of Part 1 and Part 2, it could well be that we will have to wait a correspondingly long time for the third installment in the series.

With this statement, Monaghan confirms conjectures that already referred to the production of a third part in July.
