Long speculated, now it is confirmed: AMD will present new products at Gamescom. Among them, we expect two new graphics cards
After weeks of speculation, it seems that the time has come: AMD will present new products at Gamescom 2023, which will take place from 23 to 27 August.
This was declared by Scott Herkelman – AMD’s vice president for the GPU segment – on the X-platform formerly known as Twitter.

Concretely, Herkelman writes of the next major product announcements
to be seen at the show in Cologne. These are likely to be the Radeon RX 7800 XT, which was recently leaked by board partner Powercolor. The RX 7700 XT is also likely to be presented here.
RX 7800/7700 XT: What is known so far
In addition to various entertainment events, 25 August is particularly important for hardware enthusiasts. Here AMD wants to come up with a highlight show at 5 p.m.; this show should include the presentation of the mid-range GPUs

It is still unclear what power consumption and price the AMD graphics cards will call for.
At least theoretically, the Radeon RX 7800 XT should rank below the recently released GRE version of the Radeon RX 7900 in these aspects.
This Golden Rabbit Edition
is identical on the memory side to the suspected mid-range GPU, only the number of shader units, compute units and stream processors is higher.
So, if the Radeon RX 7900 GRE has a power consumption of 260 watts as well as an MSRP of 649 US dollars, the RX 7800 XT should have slightly lower values.
After all, we don’t have to wait much longer until AMD provides us with concrete details.
