According to a public financial report from EA, Respawn Entertainment is working on a last-gen edition of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. Fans will have to wait a while for this one, though.

At the end of April, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor was only released for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. But gamers of other platforms should soon be able to enjoy it. But gamers on other platforms are soon to experience the second part of Cal Kestis’ adventure.

So EA states in a public financial report (summarized by IGN) that they will also release the title for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 . The last-gen port is said to already be in an early development stage at Respawn itself.
So it could still take a little while until the official release.

This move should come as a welcome surprise to many fans. After all  EA actually followed the trend of only developing games for current-gen consoles. Since there had still been a shortage of PlayStation 5 consoles until recently, many gamers are likely to continue gaming with a PlayStation 4.
A lucrative market, which EA probably also doesn’t want to miss out on.
