On April 29, the final of the EMEA Masters took place. Here the teams Unicorns of Love Sexy Edition and DenizBank İstanbul Wildcats met.

Istanbul Wildcats wins in the first split

After two teams from the Prime League, i.e. the DACH region, made it to the semi-finals, the chances of a longed-for victory for the German scene were good. However, only Unicorns of Love Sexy Edition was able to make it to the final itself after the other Prime League team, SK Gaming Prime, lost to the Istanbul Wildcats. The Turkish team participated here for the first time this split due to the tournament changes, from the EU Masters to the EMEA Masters.

In the best-of-five format, the Unicorns were able to secure the first two games against the Cats. However, the Istanbul Wildcats then quickly rallied and secured the next two games. Thus, everything was decided in the last fifth match of the series. And the Turkish team won this one as well due to individually strong plays, a stolen dragon and strong mentality, thus completing the reverse sweep. So the players of the winning team are Destroy, Elramir, Kofte, Bao and Parus.

Thus winning the Turkish Champions

League (TCL) directly won the title in their first participation in the EMEA Masters. Unicorns of Love Sexy Edition with its players Venour, Peach, Mask, Fun K3y and Lekcyc, thus ended up in second place of the tournament.

For those who missed the final, you can watch it afterwards on YouTube or Twitch. This is possible on the official EMEA Masters accounts, as well as in German on the Summoner’s Inn channels.
