What happens when someone rational like Sherlock Holmes meets the supernatural madness of the Cthulhu cult? You can find out with today”s launch of Sherlock Holmes The Awakened.

With this remake of the video game released in 2007, the detective duo find themselves in an unprecedented situation. For the first time, they actually look into the face of the supernatural and have to deal with this realisation. For Sherlock in particular, this case becomes a test of endurance that brings him to the edge of his sanity.

For the development team of Frogwares, the release of Sherlock Holmes The Awakened is connected with various emotions. The Head of Publishing, Sergiy Oganesyan, explains that they don”t know if they will ever release another game with so many memories and emotional baggage attached to it.

This game was mainly to ensure the continuity of the studio during the war, but it also provided a welcome break from all that was going on in everyday life. The next project is already in the works because the team has proven itself to be able to continue despite the war.

We have linked more news about Frogwares and the work on Sherlock Holmes The Awakened for you. The thrilling mystery adventure is out today for PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch.
