Call of Duty and the Ninja Turtles? A new teaser announces a possible collaboration and features Shredder, the Turtles’ arch-nemesis

Hold on to your pizza and get ready for reinforcements from the sewers. Call of Duty may be getting a new crossover. As first hints suggest, this time it could be a cooperation with the most famous four turtles in the world, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Hey, here come the Hero Turtles…

A teaser has been released on Call of Duty’s official Twitter account introducing a new operator to be released on 21 March. As the community quickly discovered from the images, it is none other than the arch-enemy of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and leader of the Foot Clan Shredder.

It would be the first collaboration for MW2 and Warzone 2 and would make perfect sense given the Japanese theme of Season 2. So far it is unclear whether Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael, Michaelangelo and Master Splinter will also make an appearance in Call of Duty.

However, if their arch-enemy already appears in the game, the four fighters for justice and their master should not be far away either. It is questionable, however, whether they will come into the game as humans with accents of their comic book role models or in their original guise as turtles and rats, respectively.

Older readers will probably remember the catchy intro song from the animated series. Whether this will also be used in the game, however, must unfortunately be doubted.

Positive Echo

In the meantime, the cooperation has met with a predominantly positive response in the community. In the comments under the video, the players are overflowing with joy and can hardly wait for the four Turtles to be introduced.

Scrolling down further, however, one also discovers some critics who point out that the developers would be better off fixing their game instead of releasing new operators and skins.

In fact, Call of Duty is currently not in a good state. While the Ranked mode is overrun by cheaters, the problems in Warzone 2 are much bigger and keep the BR shooter at a maximum of just 100,000 simultaneously active players.

Whether the cooperation and the upcoming double XP weekend between 10 and 13 March will change anything remains to be seen.
