Last year, former NAVI-IGL Boombl4 caused a solid scandal when rumours of his drug use emerged. Now he is back as a CSGO pro.
Drugs, rumours and pro-Russian connections – in mid-May 2022, the world of Russian-born Counter-Strike pro Kirill “Boombl4″ Mikhaylovwas turned upside down from one moment to the next. It was not long before he was shown the door by Natus Vincere, NAVI for short. Among other things, presumably because his wife at the time, Lika, advocated Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine on Instagram.
Since then, he’s looked on from the sidelines at what’s happening in professional sport, got involved with rap music and found no employment for nine long months – until now.

Comeback matching major
Suiting the start of BLAST Paris Major’s European RMR closed qualifier, the former in-game leader has been signed to 1WIN. The team itself consists exclusively of Russian players. Besides Boombl4, Aleksei “NickelBack” Trofimov, Aleksandr “TRAVIS” Timkiv, Denis “deko” Zhukov and Igor “Forester” Bezotecheskiy are part of the line-up. The head coach is Dmitry “hooch” Bogdanov, who also comes from Russia.
The qualifiers for the Paris Major will be played from 16 to 19 February. Afterwards, 1WIN can be seen in a match against Endpoint in the course of the ESL Challenger League. This duel will take place on 07 March.
