Today,

RGG Studio has released a new trailer for Like a Dragon: Ishin! It gives us a foretaste of one of the six DLCs. It also shows us another mini-game.

Hardly any studio manages to combine an epic story with hilarious madness without everything drifting into incomprehensible absurdity. RGG Studio has managed this balancing act for 18 years now. The upcoming DLC for Like a Dragon: Ishin! also combines these two aspects, as the latest trailer shows. The fans are already enthusiastic.

In Like a Dragon: Ishin! you take on the role of Sakamoto Ryoma, who resembles the protagonist of the main series, Kazuma Kiryu, 1:1 in appearance and voice. This meta-humour is taken to the next level with the DLC The Dragon of Dojima. In this, Sakamoto Ryoma also dons Kazuma Kiryu’s clothes and hairstyle.

The trailer clarifies this “time travel gag”, which is met with great enthusiasm by fans. Many are also amused by the fact that Kazuma Kiryu never actually kills people, but now seems to have broken out into a real bloodlust.

In addition, the new trailer for Like a Dragon: Ishin! shows a rock-scissors-paper mini-game and some interactions with Kazuma Kiryu’s foster daughter Haruka. The Dragon of Dojima is included in the Digital Deluxe Edition of Ishin! along with the five other DLCs. This also grants four days of Early Access, so you can start playing as early as tomorrow.

Like a Dragon: Ishin! will be released on 21 February for PC, PlayStation and Xbox.
