Soon Episode 6 Act 1 will start in VALORANT. We have summarised all the information about the map changes, teasers and new content for you!

New year, new episode! Act 1 of Episode 6 in VALORANT is in the starting blocks. In addition to the rank reset and a new Battlepass, players can expect more big changes.

New Map Rotation

The biggest changes in the new episode will probably be to the map pool in the unranked and ranked games.

Breeze and Bind will be removed from the rotation, but Split will get a new chance. Some adjustments have been made to the map and it should now be playable again.

However, in Spike Rush, Custom Games and other game modes, all maps will still be available.

The “City of Flowers “

Since the map rotation is always supposed to include seven maps, there will also be a new map for the new episode. Some teasers in the game indicate that this is the “City of Flowers”.

The map is said to feature a new mechanic similar to one that already exists. Riot’s game designer Joe Lansford revealed this in a (Interview)

In the next days you will get new information about the new VALORANT-Map from us!

Mysterious announcement on 5 January

Three short videos have been published on the official VALORANT Twitter account in the last few days, hinting at the 5th of January!

Likely this points to a big announcement. Whether this is a teaser to the new map or it is something else entirely is not yet clear.

Rest of time to climb

Episode 5 Act 3 will only last until 9 January! Until then, you can still grab all the Battlepass rewards and work your way up the leaderboard

If Riot sticks to the previous pattern, Episode 6 will launch the very next day, which is 10 January.

However, Riot has not yet commented on an expected new agent or revision.
