A player has taken on the mammoth task of recreating the universe in the sandbox game. The result is more than impressive.

A number of huge worlds have already been recreated in Minecraft. Huge castles, cities and stretches of land can now be marvelled at in the block game, which were created by entire teams. But now a new project takes the cake: a player has recreated our known universe all by himself. Planets, solar systems, black holes and galaxies now shine in new Minecraft splendour.

Here you can see the result:

This is how he did it

YouTuber ChrisDaCow set himself this ambitious goal – alone. His most important tool was the colouring of light effects, which is not included in the actual game. Without this feature, the galaxies and co. would look much less impressive.

In just under a month, he created the phenomenal worlds. They are of course not as big as their real counterparts, but still immensely huge and beautiful.

You can find out how he went about it and what difficulties he encountered in his video :

ChrisDaCow is certainly not a complete beginner when it comes to Minecraft replicas. The YouTuber has also created Van Gogh’s Starry Night in the game, for example.

What world would you like to see Minecraft style? Feel free to post it in the comments!
