The hit video game The Last of Us will be released as a series by HBO Max. A first look at the adaptation of the survival adventure is available to view – including the two actors:inside who portray the protagonists Joel and Ellie.
The adventure of Joel and Ellie is being “filmed”. Thus, The Last of Us is one of the many video game titles to receive a series. First trailer images reveal the locations already familiar from the award-winning survival hit.

HBO released a promising new trailer for the new “The Last of Us” series on 09/26:
The trailer offers a glimpse of first scenes from the series and promises both action-packed moments and an emotional portrayal of the game’s story.

Television programming provider Home Box Office (HBO) will air the series on its own streaming platform, HBO Max. The first trailer images have been revealed since Sunday. Especially the beginning of the trailer section shows scenes from the beginning of the PlayStation blockbuster.

Actor Pedro Pascal embodies Joel, while Ellie is played by Bella Ramsey. In the 20-second clip, the focus is on the initial and emotional dialogue between the two.
The Last of Us series will be released in 2023, but an exact release date has yet to be announced. However, the series will not be a copy of the game, but will also focus on its own content segments.
