More opulence in Fortnite: A golden Lara Croft skin is now available for the Battle Royale. We explain how you can get the special oufit.
Why go standard when you can go all gold? Since Tuesday, a golden skin variant for Lara Croft is available in Fortnite. We explain how you can unlock the special outfit.
First, equip the normal 25th Anniversary Lara Croft skin. Then enter a normal match, whether solo, duos, trios or team. Then you need to aim for Isla Nublada, a small island southwest of Misty Meadows and Slurpy Swamp, below the Flush Factory.

There’s not much to discover on the island, so head straight into the crumbling building. There you will find a new unplayable character called Aurelia. Next to the skeleton queen is a golden Scar. Simply grab this shiny weapon and you will be transformed into a golden Lara Croft. The outfit you unlock should be in your locker.
The short version of the fashionable new look:
- Choose the 25th Anniversary Lara Croft skin
- Starts a normal game
- Land on Isla Nublada
- Go to the ruins and get the golden Scar
Before you go on the mission, two little warnings: Aurelia doesn’t think much of you stealing the golden Scar and will attack you immediately afterwards. The small island is currently also a sought-after destination for countless other players who want to get their hands on the skin. So be prepared for a dangerous battle or wait a little until the rush to the island has died down.
