The LoL player reached a peak in his career. Bjergsen now holds the record for the most kills in the LCS.

Søren “Bjergsen” Bjerg played together with Team Liquid against the 100 Thieves in the North American League (LCS) on Saturday. Although Team Liquid lost the match in the end, Bjergsen was able to set a new record. The Mid-Laner cracked the highest number of kills in the LCS.

The Danish Esport player had actually hung up his pro career in 2020 and became the Head Couch of TSM. For over eight years, the LoL player was an integral part of TSM. However, the mid-laner returned as a player at the end of 2021 and joined Team Liquid. Along with the organisation, Bjergsen plays in the North American LoL League and broke the record there on Saturday.

In his career, the Mid-Laner achieved a total of 2,274 kills in League of Legends. This gives the Danish LoL player the most eliminations in the LCS and knocks bot laner Jason “WildTurtle” off his throne. The latter had previously achieved the most kills in the North American league.

Bjergsen was able to celebrate a success with the record, but his team lost to the 100 Thieves in the Best-Of-Five and now has to prove itself in the Lower Bracket. There, Team Liquid will next face Counter Logic Gaming and have to get a win to stay in the race for the qualification of the World 2022. Currently, there are still two slots open for the North American league for the World Championship.
