A Plague Tale: Requiem presents gameplay overview

Are you ready for a deep dive into A Plague Tale: Requiem? Focus Entertainment presents a gameplay overview trailer and also announces that Gamescom visitors can try out a demo.

The plot of A Plague Tale: Requiem takes place just a few months after the events of Innocence. We accompany Amicia, Hugo, their mother Beatrice and the young alchemist Lucas during the first days of summer. Hugo has a recurring dream about a mysterious island in the Mediterranean that may provide answers to the dangerous illness within him. Therefore, the group of four decides to set out on a long journey full of danger.

But the sibling duo still have a few aces up their sleeves. Amicia, for example, has emerged more mature and experienced from the events of last winter. As we already showed in the last gameplay video, she now uses a crossbow and alchemical skills to be able to use smoke bombs and manipulate fire.

Hugo can also make better use of his power over the rats in A Plague Tale: Requiem. Now he can use massive rat hordes to take out enemy troops He can also use the rodents sensitive senses to locate enemies

A Plague Tale: Requiem – What”s Coming Up

If you are now curious and want to dive into the world of A Plague Tale: Requiem yourself, you can do so soon. During Gamescom you can try out the demo at the Microsoft booth (Hall 8.1, Booth B51 – C58).

Besides this, Focus Entertainment is launching a behind-the-scenes video series called “In Focus” on 30 August  In this series, you can expect interviews with the developers of Asobo Studio as well as exciting background information on the creation process of the adventure game.

A Plague Tale: Requiem will be released on 18 October for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and as a cloud version for the Switch. (Preorders) are still available.
