The fourth Season 4 in Warzone is already in the starting blocks. We tell you everything you need to know before it starts on 22 June.

After the Reveal on 8 June, all eyes were on Modern Warfare 2 and news about Season 4 of Warzone almost got lost. So we tell you what we can expect.

As of June 20

Roadmap to Season 4

Four new weapons:

  • SMG Marco 5 (Launch)
  •  LMG UGM-8 (Launch)
  • Knife (In-Season)
  • AR Vargo-S (In-Season)

Three new operators:

  • Carver Butcher (Launch)
  • Callum Hendry (In-Season)
  • Ikenna Olowe (In-Season)

  • Fortune’s Keep Resurgence
  • Golden Plunder
  • Titanium Trials: Endurance
  • Rebirth of the Dead

Other Features:

  • New contract: Black Market Run, in this contract players have to reach black market buy stations in a given time to be able to buy extra strong items
  • EMP Grenades disable vehicles
  • New vehicle: armoured SUV
  • Mobile Redeploy Balloons
  • New blueprints, skins and more cosmetic items
  • Battle Pass with 100 levels (details not yet known)

    Battle Pass

As with every new Season of Warzone, there will once again be a Battle Pass with 100 unique stages. Besides cosmetic items, new operators and weapons will also be available in the Battle Pass. As usual, there are several ways to progress the Battle Pass. Those who don’t want to spend money will still have access to some of the rewards. However, those who want to unlock all 100 levels will have to spend a few euros. For 1000 CoD points (about 10 €) you get the regular Battle Pass. If you don’t have that much time and want to get the rewards faster, you can also spend 2400 CoD points (approx. 25 €) and jump directly to level 25.

Those who complete all 100 levels by the end of Season 4 will receive a total of 1300 CoD points as a gift and can use them to buy the next Battle Pass for Season 5. It is not yet clear on which levels the new weapons will be available. However, if we orient ourselves on previous Battle Passes, we can assume that the weapons will be unlocked somewhere between level 15 and 31. The exact details of the Season Pass will follow in the next few days.

    New Map

In Warzone the next big update is imminent. The fourth season of the Battle Royale shooter is due to be released on 22 June, and so far the developers are keeping surprisingly quiet about the content. However, it can be assumed that after the King Kong and Godzilla event of Season 3, which generated extremely mixed feedback in the community, Season 4 will be a bit more traditional again and focus on the core elements of the game.

For the launch of Season 4, we will be getting a new map – Fortune’s Keep. The map has already been introduced in a short video and will replace Rebirth Island for the time being. Even though Rebirth Island will not be playable for the time being, the developers already announced that the map will return in the foreseeable future. Whether it will then be playable in rotation with Fortune’s Keep or get a separate game mode is still unclear.

    “Huge Map Changes “

As reported by CoD leaker TheGhostOfHope, Caldera is in for some big changes for Season 4. According to him, the developers are “going nuts over the massive changes to Caldera right now”. There will be a lot of changes on the Pacific island. Besides the new POI “Storage Town”, the vegetation will be drastically reduced and MICRO POIs will be introduced. In addition, dozens of locations will be changed to create better sight lines and make it harder for campers. Furthermore, in addition to the bunkers, there will also be mercenary hideouts in Season 4, where especially good loot awaits us.
