In February of this year, Nintendo announced Mario Strikers: Battle League Football. Now a gameplay video shows what you can expect in the crazy football game. Let me tell you in advance: Be prepared for tough matches. You can look for rules here for a long time.

An unprecedented football experience awaits you in Mario Strikers: Battle League Football. After we could already get first impressions during the spring edition of Nintendo Direct, we can only get to know more features in the latest gameplay trailer.

In the exciting 5v5 matches with various characters from the Mushroom Kingdom, there are no rules, but plenty of ways to draw your opponents out. These include team tackling and the hypershot, for example. In addition, the individual abilities of your team members offer extra help. While Peach kicks with precision and speed, Bowser, for example, provides the special strength behind his kicks. You can also level up the skills of your team members by using various equipment items.

Mario Strikers: Battle League Football is especially fun when you can play it together with friends. You can compete in exciting offline matches with up to eight players, who each need their own Joycon. In addition, you can challenge another duo online in pairs on one console.

Last but not least is the Strikers Club. In this online feature, you can form a football club with up to 20 people and compete against other clubs for the championship. You also have the option of joining other clubs. In addition to choosing your team members, you can also decide on the kit, equipment and even the appearance of your club stadium.

From 10 June, Mario Strikers: Battle League Football will be available exclusively for the (Nintendo Switch).
