The big King Kong and Godzilla event is just around the corner and we reveal how you can use their destructive powers to your advantage.

The long wait for King Kong and Godzilla in Warzone is coming to an end. Starting on 11 May at 6pm, the two will make Caldera unsafe for a fortnight.

Control with S.C.R.E.A.M.

Just before the release of the Operation Monarch event, an exciting detail comes to light. The two gigantic monsters can be controlled by you. With the Titan S.C.R.E.A.M. device (Sonic Communication Radar and Echolocation Array Module), you can make one of the Titans dance to your tune. When activated, one of King Kong’s or Godzilla’s abilities is triggered. While Kong shakes the ground with his massive fists and crushes everything underneath, Godzilla devastates the landscape with his atomic breath.

The abilities cover large areas of the map and also change them. How much time your opponents have to get to safety from the mighty attacks was not revealed. According to experience, however, as with other killstreaks, you will have at least a few seconds to find a safe spot. Whether this will really withstand the attacks remains to be seen.

Godzilla and King Kong control in Warzone – Here’s how

There will be two ways to get the device and trigger the abilities. Either you deal the most damage to one of the monsters with your team or you collect Monarch secret information. The latter mechanic works similarly to the Warzone Event Power Grab or the Kill Confirmed mode in BlackOps and Vanguard. Eliminated enemies leave behind boxes of secret information that you can collect. In addition, there will be crates scattered around the map where you can find documents. Once you have collected enough information, you will receive the S.C.R.E.A.M. device.

Once in your inventory, you can activate the killstreak in the usual way and just have to choose an area where Kong or Godzilla should strike.
