Fantasy General, Heroes of Might and Magic, Battle Isle – does the sound of these names make your heart swell? Then Shields of Loyalty could be just the thing for you! Because this turn-based strategy game wants to continue the glory of the old days and has come up with quite a few ideas to do so.

What is it about? Exact story details are not yet known. The action takes place on the island world of Mantaria. You lead your army from battle to battle to become stronger and stronger.

How does it play? Your forces are not disposable soldiers. This becomes clear at the latest when you realise that you can upgrade your units up to two times, making them even stronger and more enduring to take with you into the next mission. In addition, you can also strengthen your troops with artefacts that you find in the course of the game.

In the battles, of course, the tactical component should not be neglected. You have to use the abilities of your units wisely and also take things like the terrain into account in your strategy. As if that wasn’t enough, you also have to pay attention to randomly generated environmental effects such as lightning, storms or even meteorites.

Sounds interesting? Then just take a look at the (Steam product page). If you want, you can even jump right into the game, because the Early Access phase has already started
