Riot Games has officially introduced the new Agent Neon. With her electricity, she will mix up the battlefield in VALORANT.

Riot Games announced the newest agent in VALORANT on Wednesday. Neon will be the new playable character in the tactical shooter. The agent will already be active in the upcoming episode Disruption.

It was anything but a secret that a new agent would soon be announced and revealed. Already at the turn of the year, an image of Neon was leaked on Twitch Prime, albeit still under the name “Sprinter”. In a video on YouTube, Riot Games introduces the new character and lets the VALORANT community get a first glimpse of the agent’s abilities.

Neon’s power is based on electricity and makes use of lightning. She will be able to dominate matches with her agility. The agent has the ability to slide across the ground while sprinting. However, she does not seem to be able to use her weapons there. Nevertheless, Neon could surprise enemies with it and finish them off in a flash. In addition, she can create two walls of electricity that have similarities to the fire walls of Phoenix.

Players:inside can also get their first glimpse of Neon’s Ultimate. She shoots lightning from her hands at opponents. However, it is not yet known what exactly the abilities do in VALORANT and what effects they have. Nevertheless, it appears in the trailer that Neon cannot use her lightning while sprinting. Nevertheless, Neon, who would fit into the duelist category, will increase the speed of matches with her lightning-fast movements and attacks.
