You’ll have to leave Azeroth for a full 8 hours tomorrow. But you can look forward to countless changes.
Do you have plans for 3 a.m. on December 3, 2025? What, sleep? That’s perfect! That’s when the major maintenance work on World of Warcraft will begin. You won’t be able to play the game for a full eight hours, so German adventurers will have to wait until 11 a.m.
Why all this? Blizzard needs extra time this time because a lot of new content is being added with the big 11.2.7 patch. The update is called “The Warning” and finally brings early access housing to the starting line, among other things.
But Patch 11.2.7 has even more to offer. We’ve picked out the highlights for you.
New Campaign, Events, and More
Once again, here is the exact schedule for the maintenance work: Patch 11.2.7 will be deployed on Thursday, December 3, 2025, from 3 a.m. to 11 a.m.
- Early Access Housing: Finally, all players who have already pre-ordered the upcoming Midnight add-on can start furnishing their homes. However, some housing features will not be available yet, as they are still in development.
- The Brawler’s Guild is back: Starting December 9, 2025, you can team up with other players to face powerful bosses and beat them up. New additional rules make the fights more intense and offer rare achievements as rewards.
- Shadowlands Timewalking Event: The next Timewalking event is about to begin, allowing you to explore the following dungeons: Necrotic Glade, Plaguefall, The Other Side, Mirror of Sins, Mists of Tirna Scithe, and Echoing Depths.
- Pandaren Heritage Armor: All Pandaren characters can earn a new armor set on the Wandering Isle by completing a new quest series.
- New Lorewalking Stories: Before the story of Midnight really gets going, get all the information you need about the Scourge’s attack on Stormwind and the Lich King’s corruption of the Sunwell from lore expert NPC Cho.
- Updated gameplay for new and returning players: To make it easier to (re)enter WoW with the upcoming expansion, Blizzard has adjusted the gameplay in many areas. This will help new players quickly find their way into the endgame.
- UI updates: Many in-game tutorials have been updated and supplemented with additional information. In addition, the item comparison tooltip has been revised and the hand icon of the mouse pointer now changes during actions such as grabbing or holding.
Okay, as you can see, we didn’t promise too much. Blizzard is delivering a ton of new content and updating existing features with the huge 11.2.7 patch. No wonder the maintenance is taking so long this time.
