Of course, creative house builders don’t need to be told twice. One player has just builtthe castle from Shrekintoher pad.
Two castles and a swamp
Did we say “the castle”? Of course we mean “the castles” – and the swamp in which Shrek lives.

Player Zanziabar shares the screenshot of Castle Far Far Away, the residence of Fiona’s parents, on Reddit. The monumental building is now in the player’s house, but that’s not all.
In the post, she explains further:“I alsobuilt the dragon castle and Shrek’s swamp and housetoo! All in a single level 9 house with maximum budget.”
Of course, she hasn’t withheld any pictures of these sights from us, but instead of just more plain photos, she has staged a short video:
In it, you can see Shrek and Donkey on the famous swamp plot, after which the unlikely pair travel towards the dragon castle, to which only the creepy suspension bridge from the first part leads.
After this adventure is behind them, it’s off to Shrek’s in-laws in the kingdom of Far Far Away, where we get to marvel at the castle once again.
With so much attention to detail, Zanziabar is sure to receive theapplause from the communityfor sure. Some players envy her talent for interior design.

In order for the buildings from Shrek to be realized in WoW, Zanziabar had to resort to a few tricks, as she explains in the thread on Reddit. For example, both the carpets and the stairs are actually large wooden tables. To make them “sink” into the floor, Zanziabar raised them visually using silver moon platforms.
To make the castle look as if it was outside, the player used the daylight room, which you unlock at level 5 in Housing. Conveniently, this comes with its own skybox, which fits in well with the kingdom from Shrek.
