“I was created to lead Omnics into war. But all I ever wanted was a better life for my people.” – With these words, Ramattra introduces himself to the Overwatch community in his backstory video. We took a closer look at the Omnic Warrior’s abilities.
With the former Shambali monk Ramattra, a new tank will be added to the Overwatch universe on 6 December. The 36th hero of Activision Blizzard’s shooter was first unveiled during the Overwatch League playoffs earlier this month in California. Void Accelerator (Standard Form)
As usual, the latest addition to Overwatch also has two actions on the mouse buttons:
– Left Click: Using primary fire, Ramattra shoots projectiles from the crescent-shaped staff. An ammunition charge of 100 units here speaks for a rather short fire interval.
– Right Click: By pressing the right mouse button, a barrier can be created at the targeted position. Depending on the radius and maximum distance of this ability, team members can be supported flexibly and without great risk to themselves.
Vortex of Gluttony (E)
The E-Ability shoots nano-spheres forward. On contact with the ground, these create a force field in which opposing players are pulled into bows. In addition, the movement speed of affected players is severely restricted.

Chastisement – Nemesis Form (Shift)
For about eight seconds, Ramattra can transform into his second form by pressing the Shift button. In the nemesis form, the character transforms into a melee hero. By left-clicking, he drums his opponents with big fists. In addition, triggering the ability results in a shockwave. Similar to Doomfist’s block, approaching damage can be deflected with the right mouse button. However, this also slows down the tank’s own speed. In addition, the tank receives 150 hit points.
Destruction (Ultimate – Q)
With the ultimate ability, the Omnic automatically transforms into the Nemesis form. An energy field is created around him in which enemies suffer continuous damage. The zone is maintained as long as Ramattra deals damage in it.
All in all, the new hero promises to be an aggressive tank who looks very strong at first glance. Due to the changeable form, attacks can be executed quickly and opponents can be eliminated quickly with a targeted push.
