In God Save Birmingham, instead of using a shotgun, you have to reach for a pitchfork. Because here you fight against the undead as an inhabitant of the medieval city

In many survival games, we either have to stand our ground against bloodthirsty zombies or fight for survival with a sword and bow. The newly announced God Save Birmingham now wants to combine the English Middle Ages with the undead and has released its first trailer. We give you a brief introduction to the game

What is God Save Birmingham?

In this survival game, we are transported to medieval Birmingham, a city full of crooked half-timbered houses … and zombies. We are one of the last humans who have not yet been turned into one of the nasty creatures and must now defend ourselves against our former neighbors.

In addition to the announcement trailer, the game’s Steam pagealso reveals the first details about gameplay, release and more. This is what you can expect in God Save Birmingham:

We will probably only see how well these elements work and whether they combine to create a well-rounded overall experience when the survival game is released. For survival fans, however, there was much more to see at gamescom. In Lost Legions, for example, you become a legionnaire who finds himself in a strange limbo after the Varus Battle and has to fight against supernatural forces.
