Xbox and PC Game Pass in January 2025: All new games and departures at a glance

In January 2025, there will again be some new and exciting additions for the Xbox Game Pass, but also some departures.

There’s a constant coming and going on the Xbox Game Pass every month. In January 2025, you can look forward to the latest installment in the Sniper Elite series, which will be available in Microsoft’s game subscription just in time for its release. However, as usual, some titles will be removed from the offering.

We’ll keep you updated: Not all of the new games and departures are yet known. As soon as that changes, we will update this article. So it’s worth coming back.

    Highlight: Sniper Elite: Resistance

    In Sniper Elite: Resistance, you fight alongside the French resistance and confront the Nazis during World War II.

    As is typical for the series, you control a sniper in third-person view, with whom you infiltrate enemy camps and complete various missions. Of course, the legendary kill cam and co-op mode for the entire campaign are also included again.

    The story runs parallel to the events of Sniper Elite 5. Harry Hawker, an agent of the Special Operations Executive, discovers a powerful secret weapon that would guarantee victory for the Nazis. Your task is to destroy it before it falls into the wrong hands.

    • Carrion: You take control of an unknown horror creature, try to escape from a facility where you are being held and take revenge on the staff. (Ultimate, PC and Standard)

    January 7

    • Road 96: It is the summer of 1996 and you are trying to escape from the fictitious and totalitarian country of Petria. Along the way, you will encounter numerous characters and make different decisions that will affect the course of the story. (Ultimate, PC and Standard)

    January 28

    • Eternal Strands: In this action adventure, you use the power of magic to stand your ground against humanoid constructs and wild beasts in a fantastic world. (Ultimate and PC)

    January 31

    • Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector: As a malfunctioning escaped android, you roll dice and use other role-playing mechanics to navigate the Starward Belt and attempt to build a refuge. (Ultimate and PC)

    These games will leave the Game Pass in January 2025

    Of course, some games will also have to pack their bags and leave the Game Pass in January 2025. This time, the following titles will be leaving the Game Pass on January 15:
