The new Haranir race glitches unattractively through armor. This is to be fixed soon in a patch—at least partially.

WoW Midnight has made a new race playable with the nature-loving Haranir. It’s just a shame that they don’t look as good as they should at launch: with many armor sets, there are graphical issues that cause parts of the Haranir’s bodies to glitch through their clothing.

The transmog feature in particular is causing significant problems. Complaints from fans are pouring in. Here are a few examples of the clipping errors compiled by an angry player:

I’m sorry, but did no one playtest this race and transmog?

A fix is coming soon, but maybe not for everything

In the comments on the post, many are particularly annoyed because they had already reported these issues to Blizzard in the WoW Midnight beta. Apparently, however, they were not fixed, or at least not sufficiently, and have now ended up in the release version.

Blizzard has since responded to the many negative reactions and says that a solution is already in the works. Community Manager Kaivax writes:

During this first day of players trying out the new Haranir race, we noticed, along with many of you, a number of issues with the positioning of armor on the Haranir. Although most of these are minor on their own, and we had originally planned to fix them in later patches, we realize that the total number of issues is so large that we need to address them urgently.

As a top priority, we will fix many of the issues with armor placement and visibility for the Haranir as soon as possible.
We will implement these fixes in the current version (12.0.1) via hotfix in the coming week or so. We will continue to give this issue our full attention. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

The cosmetic patch is expected to be released between March 9 and 13, 2026. However, the statement suggests that Blizzard considers some of the graphical glitches too insignificant to address immediately, so we may have to put up with minor flaws for a while longer.
