In the new render video, the Blood Ravens and Dark Angels fight side by side for the planet Kronus. There are also specific details about the release and the DLC roadmap.
You can now watch the full CGI intro trailer for the Space Marines from Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War 4. In it, the Blood Ravens and the Dark Angels join forces in the battle for Kronus.
“The Space Marines are humanity’s preeminent defenders, equipped with powerful power armor and the finest weapons the Imperium has to offer,” the description reads. “They undertake the most grueling missions, battle the deadliest enemies, and emerge victorious where less capable soldiers would face certain destruction. But on Kronus, even the Adeptus Astartes is pushed to its limits.”
Return to Kronus: Blood Ravens and Dark Angels in the Fight for Survival
Meanwhile, the Blood Ravens look back on a long history with Kronus, as it is a crucial recruitment planet for their Order.
“When the ‘Great Rift’ split the galaxy in two, Captain Cyrus, Jonah Orion, and their troops found themselves on the wrong side, cut off from any reinforcements. Having suffered heavy losses, they now return to Kronus in hopes of replenishing their ranks. But instead, they encounter waves of overwhelming xenos forces. Defeat seems all but certain—until the Dark Angels arrive and turn the tide.”
December Release: Early Access and Plenty of Free Content in the First Year
You’ll need to be patient a little longer before you can throw yourself into battle. Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War 4 will be released on December 3, 2026. With the Commander Edition, however, you can get started as early as November 30.
The first year will also feature free updates, including the return of Crusade mode, new maps, game modes, commanders, and the mission editor, as well as two major story expansions.
