The new DLC for Troy: A Total War Saga brings a lot of new content with it. The highlight, however, are probably the two new heroes Rhesus and Memnon, which should mean something to anyone who is interested in ancient sagas or listened carefully to the chatty teacher in Greek class back in the day.

The two heroes come from Homer’s Iliad and rush to the aid of besieged Troy. Included in the luggage: a total of 49 new units, new factions and fresh building options. But even non-buyers of the DLC will benefit from it! Because there’s some game content for every hard-working commander:

With the release of the DLC, you will be able to trade the ownership of island regions. In addition, the construction of buildings can be completed immediately by paying an amount of gold. If you no longer need a settlement at all, you can simply abandon it and leave it in ruins – then you will save yourself expensive building costs.

The Rhesus & Memnon DLC will be released on 14 December 2021 on Steam and in the Epic Store. You can find more information about the new DLC (in the official FAQ).
