In Dread Hunger, players are supposed to survive in multiplayer as seafarers in the harsh Arctic. However, there are two traitors among the crew who have to sabotage the whole thing and assassinate unsuspecting sailors from behind. The game combines survival mechanics like starvation and the fight against wild animals and cannibals with an asymmetrical traitor mechanic.
On Steam, a decent surge of players followed the full release from Early Access. Nearly 5,000 light sailors go on the prowl at the same time.
