The roguelite hit in early access has received a major boost with the Warsong update.
Since May last year, roguelite connoisseurs have been able to play their fingers to the bone in Hades 2. The sequel, which is currently still in early access, expands on the repertoire of the first part and has so far been met with a lot of approval from players.
A few months after the first major patch, Hades 2 received another major update, the Warsong Update And the community loves it.
The third spring of Hades 2
When Hades 2 entered Early Access on Steam, it reached dizzying numbers of more than 100,000 concurrent players. As expected, this value stagnated over time, but with each update it was able to climb a little bit higher again.
The Warsong update caused the number of players to rise to almost 17,000, a development similar to that seen after the last update in October 2024. Much more important than the bare numbers, however, is the concrete response from the community.

While Warsong is already polishing up a few things in Hades 2, the developers have already announced that this will not be the last update. A third major patch is currently in the works and should be released in a few months. However, they have not yet announced when Hades 2 will leave Early Access.

- The Last Stand: A new battle awaits at the top of Mount Olympus.
- God of War:Ares has made his way into the game and is offering you new boons.
- Altar of Ashes: The altar has been spruced up, with a new look and new menus.
- New pet: A new animal friend has made it among your allies.
- More Story: The story has been expanded with 2,000 new voicelines, among other things.
