Microsoft has finally shown a new sign of life for Fable at the Xbox Showcase. And it’s all about the series traditions.

At the big Xbox Showcase, Microsoft finally ended the long wait of Fable fans and showed a new trailer for the role-playing game. And who would have thought it: humour plays a big role again!

You don’t have to look for the video, we already have it ready for you. Feel free to watch it once or several times and let us know your thoughts on it in the comments!

What does the new trailer tell us?

Of course, we can’t really draw much out of the little film yet when it comes to concrete gameplay. Obviously, shrinking plays a role, as can be seen with the nameless protagonist of the trailer. However, it is not yet clear whether we will be walking around permanently in this miniature world, or whether it is just a temporary state.

Apart from that, the trailer is also bursting with typical Fable flair. Cosy taverns, a nasty werewolf, dubious characters, giant pumpkins – and much more.

And when is it finally time?

Fans are happy about the new trailer, but one important question remains unanswered: the release date. Because once again there was not a hint of a concrete release date.

2023 might not be that far off, otherwise Microsoft would have surely shown more cards on this topic at the Xbox Showcase.

There will be many more exciting announcements and trailers at the Xbox, Starfield and PCGaming shows. To make sure you don’t miss a single reveal, tune in to our live ticker and get up close and personal.
