Kinstrifeis an unconventional,non-linear medieval role-playing gameand a mercenary simulation for the PC. You travel through the historic Rhine Valley of the Holy Roman Empire in the 13th century. The game completely dispenses with an abstract overworld map. Navigation takes place directly within the three-dimensional world among monasteries, castles, and villages.

At its core is a purely physics-based melee combat system without traditional clipping, shown in the video as a 2024 prototype. Damage is based on mass and kinetic energy, while shields absorb impact andarmor uses a precise layering system. The single-player campaign includes tournaments, sieges, trade, and strategic alliances. Battles are limited to a maximum of 100 characters.

There is no release date yet, but you canadd Kinstrife to your Steam wishlist. The developers have ruled out an Early Access version.
