Rant Gaming and publisher Cor3 have announced thenew sci-fi extraction shooter Fragmentary Order. Although Nikita Buyanov, the head of Escape from Tarkov, is involved in the game, it is an independent project.

Here’s what it’s about: You take control of clones to fight remotely on a gigantic battlefield that spans the entire solar system. There, you must complete missions, gather resources, and escape alive in time.

The story is set in a dystopian future in the year 2251, in which humanity has nearly collapsed and is only being saved and held together by the megacorporation Core.

There is currently no set release date. What is certain, however, is that Fragmentary Order will be released for PC. Whether it will be released directly on Steam—unlike Escape from Tarkov—remains to be seen. Since there is no Steam page yet, this is unlikely.
