Two months ago, the indie hit Stray not only conquered the screens, but also the hearts of gamers. Now the enchanting title from BlueTwelve Studio and Annapurna Interactive returns – in the form of a disc version for the PS5.

In mid-July BlueTwelve Studio sent us on an atmospheric journey through a city populated by robots. Even before its release, the hype surrounding the indie title was more than palpable, which almost caused concern that the game would not live up to the high expectations. But the over 72,000 extremely positive reviews on Steam show that Stray has more than enchanted its fans. Now that we have spent two months playing the digital version on PC and PS5, the release of a physical edition follows.

The disc version of Stray is available in stores now exclusively for the PlayStation 5. In addition to the game, it contains six colourful art cards. Interested parties can also pre-order a physical version for the PlayStation 4 which will hold a free PS5 upgrade.

In addition, the online store iam8bit is offering an exclusive edition of the indie hit, which has further premium content in addition to the base game. In addition to the aforementioned art cards, this includes a black cover for the disc case, a poster and a soft patch of our four-legged heroine. This special edition is available for pre-order for just under $45 and should be available later this year.

A final merch surprise is in store for you next spring. That”s when the Stray soundtrack will be released as a double LP on black vinyl. The soundtrack can be pre-ordered now (for just under 42 dollars).
