Respawn is working on a new Star Wars game, and it’s (obviously) going down the XCOM route. That means we’ll be sending our units (including a Jedi, a Mandalorian, and a clone trooper) into battle in a single-player campaign, carefully planning each of our moves as if on a chessboard.

At Star Wars Celebration 2025, Star Wars: Zero Company was unveiled with an official trailer that even features the first gameplay scenes. For a change, we don’t find ourselves in a galactic civil war (i.e., the Rebel Alliance against the Empire), but in the Clone Wars again.

The release is scheduled for sometime in 2026 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S .
