EA has now officially announced a new Star Wars game. After several leaks, the developer has now let the cat out of the bag and revealed Star Wars: Squadrons.

EA is still keeping a low profile concerning the details, but on Monday afternoon at 17:00 German time a first trailer will be shown. If we will get gameplay and further information then is not clear. After all EA has scheduled its EA Play Live Event only a few days later on June 18th. So there should be new details at the latest then.
But from the title and the shown picture you can already conclude that Squadrons will be a spiritual successor to the Rogue Squardrons series.
