This week has some exciting new releases in store, especially for strategy fans. Here’s an overview of all the important Steam releases.
Which games are coming to Steam this week? Tactics and strategy fans in particular will get their money’s worth this time around! While Vikings and vampires are coming and going, one of the most popular sci-fi crews of all time is returning – but not quite as you might expect.
Grab your phasers and polish your armor, we’re going to take a look at the most important new releases together!
Highlight of the week: Star Trek: Voyager – Across the Unknown
Genre: Strategy / Roguelite – Developer: Gamexcite – Release: February 18, 2026 (Steam)
The fate of the Voyager is in your hands: Millions of fans eagerly followed Captain Janeway as she navigated her ship through the Delta Quadrant in the 90s.
In Star Trek: Voyager – Across the Unknown, you are now the captain.
>As a roguelite, it throws you into “what if?” scenarios: What happens if you integrate Borg technology into your ship? What if you act ruthlessly at every opportunity to secure resources? Every decision shapes the course of the journey and also permanently changes the ship and the fate of the crew.
The original voice actors provide the necessary authenticity: Tim Russ (Tuvok) and Robert Duncan McNeill (Tom Paris) reprise their roles and comment on your log entries—and their German voices are also on board!
But don’t let nostalgia fool you, the gameplay is hard-core strategy survival. You have to repair the ship and manage its energy supply and life support systems. The crew is always your most important resource.
You scan planets for resources, conduct diplomatic talks (or open fire directly) and rebuild the Voyager according to your ideas. The game is clearly aimed at strategists who already enjoyed games like FTL: Faster Than Light but are looking for more story depth and Trekkie flair.
Find out why Across the Unknown is worth a look even in Early Access in our review. There’s also a demo available on Steam for anyone interested!

- Might & Magic Fates – Heroes TCG (Early Access): Ubisoft brings back the fantasy franchise as a card game. What makes it special is that your heroes level up during matches and unlock game-changing abilities.
- ASTROBOTANICA (Early Access): You slip into the skin of an alien gardener who crash-lands on prehistoric Earth. Since the atmosphere is toxic to you, you have to grow plants that produce CO2. A relaxed mix of survival and farming, plus you can chill out with Neanderthals.

- Age of Empires 2: DE – The Last Chieftains: The classic just won’t end – thankfully! This DLC takes you to South America and brings three new civilizations (Mapuche, Muisca, Tupi) and three new campaigns.
- NORSE: Oath of Blood: A dark, turn-based tactical RPG that is strongly reminiscent of XCOM with a Viking twist. You lead a group of warriors on a bloody quest for revenge, use elevation differences in combat, and build your own settlement along the way. The story is by bestselling author Giles Kristian.

- Insider Trading: Could be the next Balatro. In this roguelike deck builder, you manipulate the stock market. You use cards to artificially push prices up or crash them.
- Menherarium: A bizarre roguelite from Japan with a strong horror touch, in which you roll the dice against an obsessive girl for your own blood. The gameplay is based on the dice game “Chinchiro.”
Thursday, February 19
- Styx: Blades of Greed: The cheeky goblin rogue is back. This time, Cyanide Studio is using Unreal Engine 5 and more open areas. Instead of linear levels, you explore hub worlds with grappling hooks and gliders. New are the “Quartz Powers,” which give you magical abilities such as time manipulation. Please note: This time it’s a single-player experience only.
- Demon Tides: This is an open-world 3D platformer with a sailing feature reminiscent of Zelda: Wind Waker. You explore islands, collect new abilities, and more, all in a stylish 2D-in-3D graphic style.
Friday, February 20
- SealChain: Call of Blood: An action roguelite that focuses on crazy item synergies. You combine items to trigger powerful seal effects. Since items can be stacked infinitely, the game promises absolutely chaotic storms of effects in the style of Megabonk as it progresses.
