The graphically opulent action adventure game Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 has returned with a gritty trailer at the Xbox Games Showcase.

What’s to see in the trailer? The eponymous heroine Senua goes into a dark cave to seek the help of an otherworldly being, while the voices in her head, called the Furies, incessantly speak cryptic and mythical phrases
Wisdom has its price and leads to change, truth and death
, the narrator is heard whispering as Senua crawls through the cave. Here the eerie creatures await, showing themselves in the form of giant eyes on the walls
The creature calls Senua a madwoman, a witch, a warrior, and a hero – and she clearly has a hard time understanding what the furies and the eyes are trying to tell her.
The trailer is visually stunning, quite emotional and superbly acted. Senua, by the way, is embodied by German actress Melina Jürgens, who introduced the trailer herself at the Xbox event.
The most important info came at the end of the impressive trailer: Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 finally has a confirmed release date and is scheduled to come out sometime in 2024
