The next Anno will be released on November 13, and we already know what time you can download the building game.
Anno 117: Pax Romana continues the legendary building series from Germany on November 13, 2025. This time, the building game is set in ancient Rome and is expected to break with the established Anno formula in some areas.
Will this make it better than its brilliant predecessor, Anno 1800, or possibly weaker? You can find out for yourself when it’s released. If you want to get started as early as possible, you’ll need a few exact times. What a lucky coincidence that we can now reveal them to you!
Preload: When can I download Anno 117?
There will be a preload for Anno 117. This means you can already download the building game to your PC or console and get started right away when it’s released! The different preload times vary depending on the platform:
- On PC: Preload starts on November 10 at 5 p.m.
- On PlayStation 5: Preload starts on November 11 at midnight.
- On Xbox Series X/S: Not yet known.
How large are the data files? Anno 117 takes up (funny enough) about 117 gigabytes on your hard drive. However, the download is highly compressed, so you only need to download about 62 gigabytes.
Start time: When exactly will the game be released?
The official release date is November 13, but what time exactly can you start playing? We’ve already found that out too:
- In Germany, you can play Anno 117 on November 13 starting at 12:00 a.m.!
We don’t expect anything to get in the way of that. Although Anno 117 also has an online connection, it is primarily played in single-player mode. So we don’t expect overloaded servers to spoil the fun in any way.
So if you want to stay up that late, you’ll most likely be able to set sail right at 00:00! But beware: as with all Anno games, Anno 117 comes with an extreme risk of getting bogged down. Morning will probably come faster than you think. So take a few breaks in between – Anno kindly reminds you of this itself.
