During today’s Pokémon Presents for Pokémon Day, Nintendo and Game Freak announced Pokémon Legends: Z-A was announced. Set in a futuristic setting, the title looks to combine Pokémon exploration with city planning.

On the occasion of this year’s Pokémon Day, a new edition of Pokémon Presents took place. In the almost 12-minute stream, news about the mobile offshoots of the franchise was announced

At the end, however, the upcoming Pokémon Legends: Z-A, which will once again immerse you in the Kalos region from Pokémon Generation X&Y. However, the focus of the title seems to be on the region’s capital. In Illumina City they seem to want to implement redesign plans. It’s quite possible that we as players will be able to play an active part in this.

Unlike Arceus however, Pokémon Legends: Z-A, however, doesn’t seem to be taking us to an early version of the Kalos region. Instead, we seem to be travelling back in time to the future and helping Illumina City with its modernization plans.
Only time will tell to what extent the possible city-building mechanics can be combined with the open world approach and Pokémon studies from Arceus.

Nintendo and Game Freak have announced that Pokémon Legends: Z-A 2025 will be released simultaneously worldwide for the Switch family. However, a specific release date has not yet been revealed. If there is any news about gameplay and release, we will update you accordingly
