It’s rare, but not impossible. Some games even come out earlier than originally planned. This is the case with Battlefield rival Delta Force.

Delta Force was able to inspire numerous players during the Steam Next Fest and has a good chance of becoming the next big thing on the shooter market. Now the developer is surprising fans with some good news. The early access release, which was originally scheduled for 2025, has been brought forward to this December.

Same content – different name

Delta Force mixes elements of Battlefield with Escape from Tarkov, making it a tactical shooter that is already causing a stir before its release. The free-to-play title has also been very well received by us so far.

Those who have not yet had the opportunity to try Delta Force for themselves will not have to wait too much longer to catch up. As developer Tim Jade has announced, the early access version of Delta Force will be released on Steam and Epic on December 5, 2024.

According to a message in the game menu, the delay is due to the rapid progress of development and the positive feedback from the community. However, the luck only applies to PC players. The versions for Playstation, Xbox and Mobile will not be released until next year, as planned.

The beta label remains: Although the version that will now be released in December corresponds to the planned early access build, it has been given the name Global Open Beta instead. However, this should not affect the content. You can still expect regular updates with new content, Battle Passes, and paid cosmetic items. We will not use pay-to-win tactics.

Your progress is gone: All of you who have already played Delta Force should be aware that only rewards associated with your account will be carried over at the start of Early Access. All other progress will be reset.

On the other hand, the first season will start on the first day of Early Access. It is called Genesis and brings you new maps, new vehicles, new weapons and more.
