Shortly before the release of the shooter Painkiller, the developers at Anshar are giving us a glimpse into the game’s co-op mode with a new trailer. The so-called “Slay Together” trailer focuses on the joint demon battles.

The trailer shows how you fight your way through hordes of demonic enemies as a team. Under the motto “Friends who slay together, stay together,” the co-op gameplay is presented as great fun – even if many fans of the series can’t quite get to grips with the new approach.

Maybe we’re not in for a good Painkiller, but a good co-op shooter? We’ll know more on October 21, 2025, when Painkiller is released for PC and consoles.
