Last summer, the Netflix adaptation of One Piece was released. Despite many expectations, the series was very well received by fans and created a huge hype. Now fans are eagerly awaiting information on when the second season might start. Garp actor Vincent Regan has now revealed details about this.

The Vienna Comic Con took place in the Austrian capital from November 22nd to 23rd. In addition to a colorful program and numerous exhibitors, the visit of some stars also generated great enthusiasm. Among the prominent guests this year was Vincent Regan, who plays Garp in the Netflix adaptation of One Piece.

He was interviewed by the Austrian gaming site Cerealkillerz, which published the 10-minute clip shortly after the Comic Con.

In the interview, Regan talks about preparing for the role and what he thinks has made One Piece successful. He explained that, on the one hand, this is due to the casting. On the other hand, it is due to the fact that every decision had to be approved by Eiichiro Oda.

The current status quo of the production

In this context, Regan was also asked about the production status of the second season of One Piece. He stated that he had only recently returned from South Africa and had shot all the scenes with Garp. He expects that the shooting will be completed in about a month and Season 2 and thus hopefullycould be released for release before Christmas 2025.

Regan continues with an update on the future plans for One Piece. Filming of season 3 is set to begin soon, which will pick up on the events of the Alabasta arc This is expected to span two seasons.

For One Piece fans, this means waiting, and for quite a while at that. A small ray of hope is that The One Piece could sweeten the wait.
