On January 16, Nintendo showed the Switch 2 – without giving much away. Since then, fans have been speculating about what the new console will be able to do.
Nintendo was tight-lipped – but that will soon come to an end.
Then the Nintendo Switch 2 Direct starts
The Nintendo Switch 2 Direct will be broadcast on Wednesday, April 2, 2025. It starts at 3 p.m. time.
How long the Direct will last is not known. However, the Switch 2017 presentation lasted a little over an hour. We expect the same time frame.

As with every Nintendo showcase, the company will stream the Direct on its official YouTube channel
It’s likely that Nintendo will also embed the stream on its own websiteif you’d rather watch there.

How much the Switch 2 has to offer is not yet known. Features such as the Joy-Con’s mouse function will certainly be presented.
The release date and price are probably the most anticipated pieces of information The Switch was released around two months after its presentation. If we assume the same time frame for its successor, it would be released at the beginning of June. There is still speculation about the price.
