Highlight of the week: Solasta 2 (Early Access)
(Genre: Role-playing game – Developer: Tactical Adventures – Release: March 12, 2026 (Steam/Early Access)
With Solasta 2 , one of the most faithful adaptations of the Dungeons & Dragons rulebook returns to the PC. This time, you find yourself in the unexplored vastness of the distant continent of Neokos, where you, as four adopted siblings, must unravel the mysterious legacy of your family.
You will be confronted by the mysterious antagonist Shadwyn, whose corruption threatens to engulf the entire land. Thanks to the switch to Unreal Engine 5, the world shines more beautifully than ever before.
The creators are also relying on a hard-hitting interpretation of the Pen& paper rules for the sequel, but this time they are using the updated 5E rulebook from 2024.
In the turn-based battles, you have to prepare your spells wisely, use the environment to your advantage, and get the most out of your classes. Away from the battles, you can now explore the world much more freely on a hex map than in the first part.
The path to the full version: The CRPG will initially launch in Early Access and offer you a decent chunk of the first act (10 to 15 hours of playtime) and a maximum level of four. In the coming months, not only will the campaign be completed, but the developers are also planning updates that will bring new races and an online co-op mode to the game, among other things.
