The Playstation 5 is about to get even better with the upcoming PS5 system software. Due Beta version brings some handy accessibility features and impressive 3D audio powered by Tempest 3D AudioTech.

You can also now effortlessly search for games and console tips, connect with other players more easily, and customise multiplayer sessions to your liking. And if you’re always looking for more storage, the good news is that the beta supports M.2 SSDs with impressive capacities of up to 8TB!

Unfortunately, access to the beta version is limited to selected countries for now and requires an invitation. But don’t worry, as the new features are expected to be available as an update for all PlayStation 5 consoles later in the year!

The enhanced accessibility features will enrich your gaming experience in a whole new way. Now you’ll be able to use a second controller for support and get even deeper into the gameplay thanks to haptic feedback on the system interface. Plus, support for compatible Dolby Atmos-enabled audio devices will take sound quality to incredible levels.

But that’s not all! The social features have also been improved to make the gaming experience more social and interactive. The party user interface has been updated and you can now more easily pre-check screen shares. Joining your friends’ gaming sessions has never been easier! And if you’re into tournaments, you’ll be happy to hear about the new tournament tile in the Game Hub and the ability to respond to messages with emojis.
