Funny gameplay clips, animal lists, and an award at the Game Awards. Bird Game 3 is currently taking the internet by storm, even though the game isn’t even real.
Which bird is the strongest? The penguin, the pigeon, or the hummingbird? This question is not being asked by biologists, but by gamers discussing Bird Game 3. If you’ve never heard of this game, it’s no wonder: the multiplayer bird fighting game is just an invention and the videos circulating online are AI-generated.
What does the bird meta look like?
Videos about Bird Game have been circulating on TikTok for weeks, some of which have been viewed millions of times. The origin of the trend can be traced back to an AI-generated clip from October 2025. It shows a happy player who has just bought the brand new Bird Game 3 for the Xbox 50. But then the internet got to work.

On TikTok, YouTube, and other platforms, fans of the fake game came up with new videos about Bird Game. Background stories were created that explained the origin and success story of Bird Game.

Players created videos of themselves winning duels with other birds, or of someone in their lobby pecking at the ultra-rare (because extinct) dodo. Depending on the video, Bird Game is more of a fighting game, a kind of Fortnite clone with birds, or a MOBA like League of Legends. Animal lists of the strongest bird species were created (the pigeon and the hummingbird are contenders for the throne, for example).
Of course, the Bird Game lore has also been expanded to include other games. There is nostalgic clips from the first Bird Game and exclusive first Gameplay footage from Bird Game 6 in high-gloss graphics. Of course, not all of the countless videos fit together, but that’s not the point anyway: Bird Game 3 satirically comments on gaming culture, trends, and gaming communities.
A fake controversy is being stirred up around Bird Game 3 that would disappoint long-time fans. Angry (fake) YouTubers appear on camera to vent their anger. Videos show how players insulting in a multiplayer lobby, with the comment kids these days wouldn’t survive a 2011 Bird Game lobby.
It’s hard to say how long Bird Game 3 will remain one of the biggest games on TikTok. Currently, countless new clips are still being created every day. If you now feel like joining the battle with a feathered animal, we unfortunately can’t give you any tips on the current bird meta.
