At the Xbox Showcase in March 2026Artificial Detective was revealed, an action-adventure game that puts you in the robotic shoes of a mechanical detective. In the year 2846, you are tasked with solving the mystery of the missing human race. Deadly machines stand in your way and, as the trailer suggests, the game is full of action. Small machine particles apparently bring old robots to life, which then want to turn you into spare parts.
It looks like you’ll have a robo-dog with you at least some of the time to help you. And a human (?) child, who the investigator is sure to find annoying at first, but then takes to his heart. Anything else would be very surprising.
The exact release date is not yet known, it should be in 20272027. Artificial Detective will be released for PC and Xbox consoles.
