Yesterday evening Warner Bros. Games and Avalanche Software released a new trailer for Hogwarts Legacy. In it, various locations of the game are teased. There are also a few allusions to the existing Harry Potter storyline.

How long does an owl live? Six and a half books! That was the first line that went through my head when I saw the new 4K trailer for Hogwarts Legacy.

In this one, we see an owl taking a letter to the new student at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. On its way, however, the feathered messenger flies over some exciting scenery. For example, a group of students gathers and questions a certain Professor Weasly about the strange magic that has recently been performed. Apparently we are dealing with an ancestor of Ron’s.

Continues with students fighting a horde of spiders at the Forbidden Forest and various people trying to catch the owl with a death curse. This will probably be a clear allusion to how the Dark Wizards unfortunately killed Harry’s owl Hedwig in the seventh part of the Harry Potter series. But luckily our feathered protagonist is able to escape these sinister creatures and even manages to dodge a fire-breathing dragon. We’re excited to see how the story of Hogwarts Legacy unfolds, that we will have to deal with a dragon.

Hogwarts Legacy will be released on 10 February first for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S on 10 February This will be followed by the release for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on 4 April and the release for Nintendo Switch on 25 July
