One of hip-hop’s most famous artists and rappers has joined arguably the biggest Esports organisation in the world. Snoop Dogg is now on the grid with FaZe Clan.
Snoop Dogg will be joining FaZe Clan and will be both a talent and a board member. This means he will both produce content and have a say in decisions within the organisation.
“It only makes sense to work with the FaZe Clan both as a team member and on the board,” Snoop Dogg said in a press release. “The youth identify with their brand and my son Cordell knew that, which is why he brought us together. “
According to Kai Henry, the FaZe clan’s chief strategy officer, it took a while for Snoop Dogg to join the clan. “The organic relationship between FaZe and Snoop has been building for years, so we’re thrilled to officially welcome Snoop to the FaZe family,” Henry enthuses, “As an original internet kid and first generation gamer, Snoop has always understood the cultural connection between music, lifestyle and gaming.
