The roguelite Roguewaters and the 4X strategy game Songs of Conquest are now available for free in your Epic Games library.

It’s Thursday again, and for some of you, today is even a holiday. But instead of honoring Jesus with bread and wine on Corpus Christi, we’d rather throw a party with free games. Luckily, you can get them anywhere, no matter which state you’re hanging out in.

This time, Epic has two fantastic titles for you again, which you can claim and keep within the next seven days:Songs of Conquest and Rogue Waters.

(Click here for the free games on the Epic Games Store)

Songs of Conquest

Songs of Conquestis a real treat for nostalgia lovers. This strategy game, featuring a beautiful 90s aesthetic, puts an army of mages at your disposal to engage in turn-based battles.

Little by little, in classic 4X style, you expand your territory, build cities, and search for artifacts in various biomes. How exactly you go about it is up to you. You can combine different troop abilities and let your strategic creativity run wild.

Tester Reiner really liked Songs of Conquest. So there’s really no excuse for strategy fans to pass up this epic gift.

Rogue Waters

There’s something in store for amateur pirates this week, too. In Rogue Waters, you step into the boots of Captain Cutter, who sets sail with his crew into dangerous waters teeming with sea monsters and hostile buccaneers. On your journey, you fire cannons at enemy ships, board them, and eventually engage in close combat.

To do this, you upgrade your ship after each round and level up your crew members so they’re ready for battle on the high seas. Damage persists over multiple rounds, so you’ll have to keep swapping out your crew to avoid going overboard against your opponents.

How to claim the games

You’ve never received an (Epic) gift before and are so excited you don’t even know how to unwrap it? That’s what we’re here for!

  1. Log in to the Epic Games Store with your account.
  2. Navigate to the free gamesand click on the banners for Songs of Conquest and Rogue Waters.
  3. Complete the purchase for zero euros.

The games will then be added to your library in no time. From there, you can easily install them and get started.

As always, this offer is only valid for one week, until June 11 at 4:59 p.m. Then the next round begins on Epic. We’ll have to wait and see what’s in store for us.
